The trend of Boards of Trustees falling all over themselves to support incompetent, uncommunicative and possibly corrupt administrations continues, just north of Edison. Apparently, Rhodes' Board is suing itself to prevent President McCurdy's inconceivably renewed contract from being put into force. As a result, the members of the Board who are loyal to the appalling McCurdy have said the involvement of the dissenting trustees in any deliberations on the matter would be "inappropriate." The Chairman has even solicited their resignations. Read up on the whole sordid affair at limaohio.com.
How long, O Lord, how long?

Is it true that Linda Peltier directed that all Edison employees and students e-mail communication to trustees must be sent through her?
Yes, she did say that in a response to a request for Board members' mailing addresses.
Is it also true that the reason for so many vacant board seats is that KY is tightly filering the proposals from Strickland's office?
The heck does KY have to do with Board appointments?
As strange as it may seem I've heard that college presidents have some say in who gets on the Board, though surely they can be overruled by the governor. Can you say "pick your own boss?"
I want to know where this is written. If KY can pick his own boss, I want to pick mine.
