What? What's that you say? Some institutions actually value faculty? And aren't trying to de-academicize and de-professionalize the faculty corps? And don't have dreams of outsourcing to such an extent that the only real employees who'll be left, and who'll hold a stake in the institution, are the President and his bowing-and-scraping familiars?
Well then. What the hell is happening at Edison, where our ratios of full-time faculty hiring as related to administrative hires, and to faculty losses due to retirement, is utterly and completely abysmal? Someone, anyone, please?
