Remembering Stan said...

I had the pleasure of being paired with Stan for the 'engineered experience' of Edison's new-employee orientation. Our conversations were immediately very cordial. We went to Home Depot together, posing as being in need of a table saw, to study customer service styles. Stan 'fessed up' to the salesman before we left, spilling the beans on our sleuthing. Such was his character--always gentlemanly, and incapable of dishonesty. My wife, who visited him in the VA Hospital with her pet therapy dog, reported that he maintained dignity to the end. Let's not forget him. He served Edison and his students. Cheers, David Gansz
